When a product is sold, there is 10% GST tax payable on the product.
Each product has a 'CV' (Commissionable Value) associated with the product.
Commission is paid on the 'CV' value, not the dollar value.
The 'CV' is based on the product price without the GST component as Empassion cannot pay commission on tax collected.

You can introduce retail customers to the product through your web site and introduce new Affiliates only from countries from which Empassion officially distributes the product to. Presently Empassion is available only in Australia. However in 2009 Empassion will be rolling out distribution throughout many countries around the word.
